Computer use is first-come, first-served for up to three hours. Computers are available when the branch opens until 15 minutes before it closes. Residents of Hamilton need a library card to use a computer. Guest Passes are available to visitors from out of town, with proof of address.
All computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before the branch closes. Check branch hours.
All computers have USB ports (to use with USB drives), internet access and additional software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Accessibility options (magnification, text narration, on-screen keyboard) are available on all public computers. An accessible keyboard and trackball mouse are available at each branch.
Printing, photocopying and scanning are available at all locations. The first 10 black and white pages printed each day are free. Additional printing costs 10 cents per page for black and white and colour printing is 25 cents per page.

Hamilton Public Library offers online computer classes and individual virtual appointments to help with basic technical issues, such as downloading eBooks and using our online resources.
