Join Us for the Launch of the Storytelling Project Event at the Grand Unveiling of the New Hamilton Room
HAMILTON, ON –September 22, 2016 – Hamilton Public Library and our community partners are celebrating the official launch of the Love Your City, Share Your Story digital storytelling project at an unveiling event on Friday, September 30. This event will take place in newly renovated Hamilton Room at the Central Library and will be an opportunity to thank the partners, donors and sponsors who have generously supported these projects.
WHAT: Hamilton Public Library welcomes guests to join us for the launch of the Love Your City, Share Your Story digital storytelling project. Project partners have been busy collecting stories all about Hamilton for over a year and are officially ready to start sharing them with the community. This event will take place in the newly renovated Hamilton Room. The afternoon will include remarks from Mayor Eisenberger, Hamilton Public Library’s CEO and Chief Librarian Paul Takala, and several community partners. It will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.
WHO: Storytelling Project partners include: Hamilton Public Library, McMaster University Library and the City of Hamilton. Funding for the Storytelling Project was generously donated by the Hamilton Future Fund.
Other community partners, including the Hamilton Community Foundation, will be present to participate in the launch and official unveiling of the Hamilton Room.
